This is indeed a great looking lure with a perfect
weight for casting good distances. Even here in Maine I have had
a few blowups on this lure and it is far from top water season
here as the water temps are still in the low 50’s. The looks

This is a Fantastic top water popper lure that has
a great action and can be fished where other top water lures just
can't go. Almost 100 percent weedless, and seems as if the Scum
Frog forces the fish to bite. I would recommend this lure to anyone
who has moderate fishing experience, due to the fact the it is
hard to wait 2 seconds before setting the hook after the fish
smashes the top of the water to grasp the little Scum Frog. I
would not have picked the product off of the shelf, due to its
unappealing design. However after using the Scum Frog I am convinced
that you would be hard pressed to find a better top water popper.
During my test I went to a place where I had wanted to fish but
didn't want to risk getting hung in the grass. The Scum Frog seems
and claimed it could go where other lures can't. So I decided
to give the grass a try. I made my first cast with the Scum Frog,
and a few pops over the top of the water, there was a huge crash
and the lure was gone, I hesitated and then set the hook. I landed
a 6.33lb largemouth, right then I was sold on the Scum Frog lure.
I continued to catch fish all afternoon regardless of my technique,
I was even able to simply reel the lure across the top of the
water and catch fish. Unbelievable lure, and one that I will keep

I would recommend this product. There is a lot of river fishing
here and frogs are used quite often and this frog is reliable.

The frog casts well and sits in the water very naturally,
it pops and spits but also has great leg movement. I liked this
product and I will certainly buy more of them in different colors.
This is a well designed frog that is multi-talented. The frog
has a very enticing leg action to help trigger strikes while sitting

it, it does not dive under water like some other frog baits. It

Definitely a great lure, I like the small size
and castability of the bait. The hooks are good quality and the

Impressive, the popper produced hard strikes from
all sizes of bass. Truly a 'go to' when conditions dictate a top
water lure. Equally effective in cover or open water. Here's a
top water lure that every fisherman should have in the box. It
successfully attracted bass of all sizes, when other baits weren't
producing strikes. I was impressed that it was equally effective
in ponds, as well as the lake. Simple to use, and the awesome
top water strikes make it a must have! During my final test of
the product, I added YUM/ LPT in shad flavor into the body of
the lure. I was able to land two fish without ever setting the

Seems to be well made with quality products. No
weeds or lily pads fished as it is to early, but did not get snagged
fishing stumps. I wanted to try it because it seems to used by
several pros with good results. The price for the quality seems

I think this will be a great bait. Smaller size
with the silicone skirt that looks like the legs of a real frog.
Definitely recommend it. With the extremely sharp 4/0 Owner hook,
it will hold fish on. I have fished Scum Frog Baits for a long

I believe the Scum Frog is very durable and does
not snag up easily. I like the fact you can work it through think
lily pads and trees without hang-ups. [I would recommend it] because
of the ability to fish the frog in the pads and still be able

Works great during windy days. Easy to cast and
fun to use. I caught a bass on the first cast. Doesn't get any
more exciting than that. If you like top water action and the
fish are sluggish, this is the bait for you. I'd recommend it
without hesitation. I haven't had much success with frogs for
some reason so I've always been reluctant to use them. Much to
my surprise I caught a bass on my first cast with this product

The product performed well through the lilly pads
and stumps without hanging up. It makes enough noise in the water
that it should attract fish in the area. The product looks very
life-like in the water to attract the fish. I would recommend
this lure. It would be a great topwater lure for fishing cover.

Very impressed with the product, was able to solicit
top water bites in early pre spawn conditions. The quality of
