They were great! The twist lock seal really held
the lure on tight. With the unique twist lock system the lure
will stay where it belongs. The twist lock system is a real asset
the way it holds your lure in place. AND… the fish hook
up very well. Blake B. Boca Raton, FL
These hooks are great. They make it easy to put the
lure on and they really hold the lure on.I definitely would recommend
them. They are easy to use and they work. Larry K. O'Fallon,
MO
It worked great. It kept my worm and frogs from
sliding down the shank and ripping. Alan G. Evansville, IN
These are superior hooks with great "bait"
holding ability. They definately hold the soft plastic baits in
place with no slippage. I will now switch all my hooks to Owner
hooks. Chris F. St. Charles, MO
I would recommend them to fellow fisherman. The
hooks did just what the advertisement said they would do, held
the plastics in place. Jeremy B. Fort Leonard Wood, MO
I think this product is going to be great to hold
the bait on the hook longer, which will mean more fishing before
you have to change baits. I think that you can catch more fish
before you will need to rebait your hook. Bill D. Jacksonville,
AR
I think Twist Lock spring is "Tops" the
centering pin on the 5132 is the best idea for a hook yet. Owner
makes great hooks. Larry B. Austin, TX
I’ve used other hooks with spring lure holders
before, but the centering pin on the TwistLOCK is one of the best
unique features of this hook. Like the other Owner hooks I use,
the hook point is sharp and the hooksets are solid. The quality
of these hooks are exactly what I expected from Owner –
Perfect. The hook shank strength and point penetration is what
I have come to expect from Owner and I have pointed this out to
my friends. The new centering pin on the TwistLOCK sold itself
to my friends and they will probably buy them if the haven’t
already. Joel N. League City, TX
The 3/0 hooks are my favorite because they are heavy
hooks for heavy line and I like to use heavy braided line. Although
the light 1/0 hooks did well for drop-shotting and light texas
rigging. The Open Gap system on these hook allow for very good
hook-up ratios and as heavy as the hooks are in the 3/0 series
and larger they hold up well under the duress of strong hook-sets
with today’s braided lines. 7. Owner Hooks have traditionally
been my hook of choice. I have tried several major brand X’s
and always find myself back using Owner hooks. It is hard to beat
the penetration factor of the Cutting Point on these hooks. Gene
