This is a great lure. Very high quality, and different
from anything that I have ever fished. The best buzzbait I have
ever thrown! The Helix Buzz was ready to fish, straight out of
the package. I didn't have to tune the bait at all, even after
the 14th bass! I would absolutely recommend Fishbelly products
to my fisher-friends. Price is no match for quality, and the Helix
Buzz is hands-down the best buzzbait I have ever fished.
When I first opened the Helix Buzz's package, I
was a little skeptical of how much lift the unconventional blade
design would provide. I tied the lure on and gave it a cast across
the water, completely over-casting my original target by a good
20 feet! I have never seen a buzzbait that casts as far and as
accurately as the Helix (after, of course, I got used to how much
farther the lure casts in comparison to my conventional buzzbaits).
Once the lure hit the water, I started reeling like a madman (thinking
the lure would never be able to be fished slowly because of the
blade design). The Helix Buzz tracked straight and true even at
my fastest retrieve, and to my surprise, I was able to fish the
bait incredibly slowly. After I slowed it down and was accustomed
to the greater casting distance, I caught 14 largemouth bass,
with the largest being 5 1/2 pounds. Not bad for pre-spawn bass
at all! I never had to tune the Helix, not once! Excellent product!

The Helix Buzz bait is fantastic. Always caught

Great action, the unique blades create a ripple
unlike conventional buzz baits. Fish really tune in to subtle
differences in presentation such as the wake created with the
Helix Buzz. Creative and smart design. I believe in offering a
different presentation for the heavy traffic lakes here in Arizona.
Love the design of the blades. It makes great sense to have the
fan concept used on buzz baits vs. the previous flat pinwheel

The product is the correct size and has the live
fish detail to make a fine drop shot lure. Hawgshad has the large
eye and detail which makes the lure especially good as a drop
shot lure. I also like it as a finesse type lure because of the
action of the lure. I would recommend this product particularly

The plastic bait is super pliable, giving a very
life-like appearance in use. When twitched, it looked like a dying
minnow – to me and to bass. I really like the action of
